Worked on genetics and tissue culture of pigeonpea.

HYDERABAD, INDIA Worked on rice breeding and genetics,
specializing in breeding for multiple resistance.

1986-88: UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS, U.S.A Worked on
inter-sub-generic hybridization and in Vitro regeneration in
the genus Glycine as a postdoctoral fellow. |

1988-94: UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA, CANADA
Worked as a geneticist on genetic and cytogenetic relationships between
Triticeae grasses and genetic improvement of wheatgrass
species through conventional gene introgression and
protoplast fusion. |
